NEW COLLECTION OF WORKS BY ALICIA DUBNYCYKJ Exhibition – 12th until 16th September at our Nottingham Gallery

With just a day to go until a captivating exhibition by urban landscape artist Alicia Dubnycykj goes on show we wanted to give a sneak peek and invite you along to a very special artist preview tomorrow from 1pm – 4pm.

1_Chrysler I, New York 30sq - £3,500

Chrysler New York

The exhibition will display works from Dubnycykj’s new collection, which sees the artist move away from using straight lines, and see her recreation of familiar skylines take on an more abstract feel.

Created by applying gloss paint onto wood Dubnycykj’s work gives viewers the chance to investigate the abiding presence of the urban environment and appreciate the colour, vibrancy and energy of these urban scenes.

6_Into Midtown, New York 24 x 36 - £3,500

Mid-town Manhattan

Formed from manipulated photography her work is archetypal of modern impressionism and has earnt her paintings a proud place in the private collections of many, including the Princess of Kuwait.

Extensively reviewed in the British Press including the Independents ‘Top 5 Artists to invest’, ‘Who to invest in Art’ in Esquire Magazine, Fused Magazine and the cover feature of City Living.

Dubnycykj will be in the gallery tomorrow 1pm – 4pm to answer your questions and talk in depth about her work. The exhibition will run until Wednesday 16th September.
